To become certified as a Newborn Care Specialist through NCSA, you must fulfill tcertain requirements.

NCSA Certification Application:

NCSA would like to establish a standard of professionalism and exemplary care within the Newborn Care Specialist profession. We find that by connecting individuals with comprehensive training and certification programs, it will provide opportunities for specialists to expand their knowledge and offer families a higher standard of care. Our certification process ensures that each individual working in this profession has a thorough understanding of newborn care and is professionally positioned to offer a new family unparalleled assistance & support.

Holding a certificate through NCSA will signify you’re highly skilled, appropriately educated in your field and uphold a respected level of professionalism.

Certifications are valid for two (2) years and renewable with evidence of continuing education hours (6 total) These classes will be posted on this site and you may take outside classes with the written approval of the NCSA.

You will receive an NCSA Certified Logo to place on your website or on your media material. You will also receive a Certification Certificate to be placed in your portfolio.

The following should be paid after you complete all the requirements, are ready to submit the forms and take the certification test.
