NCSA Instructor's Guidelines:
The NCSA will teach and certified qualified candidates to become Certified NCSA Instructors. These Certified Instructors will be permitted to teach the "NCSA's Manuel for Newborn Care Specialist 101”. For additional questions please contact Terian Johnston at: Terian@ncsainfo.com
Candidates must:
Have a Minimum of 3 years newborn experience.
Have a clear background check.
Complete and submit the NCSA Certified Instructor's Application.
Must already be a Certified Newborn Care Specialist through the NCSA or be willing to fulfill those requirements as well as the requirements of becoming a “Certified NCSA Instructor”.
Certified NCSA Instructor's Options:
All certification are good for one calendar year. A course will need to be taken yearly to renew certification. This renewal is simply to introduce and teach the instructor any updates in the manual or industry changes. All Instructors must be current member of the NCSA.
“Gold” Certification:
Upon certification the Instructor is entitled to:
Teach an unlimited amount of Newborn Care Specialist the “Newborn Care Specialist 101” course using the “NCSA's Manuel for Newborn Care Specialist 101”. They must charge a minimum tuition of $350.00 per student.
They must pay a “student fee” of $35.00 per student to the NCSA for each student that takes this course. (This will be paid when ordering manuals.) The Instructor is then to retain 100% of the remaining tuition.
They must purchase “NCSA Manuel for Newborn Care Specialist 101” through The NCSA. They will be given a rate of $30.00 per manual to be paid in addition to the “student fee”.
Unlimited access toNCSA's forms, handouts, letters, research, new products, information and more.
Access to your teacher for advice and council during business hours.
10% discount on any NCSA classes.
Cost: $3,000.00
“Silver” Certification:
Upon certification the Instructor is entitled to:
Teach an unlimited amount of Newborn Care Specialist the “Newborn Care Specialist 101” course using the “NCSA's Manuel for Newborn Care Specialist 101”. They must charge a minimum tuition of $350.00 per student.
They must pay a “student fee” of $60.00 per student to the NCSA for each student that takes this course. (This will be paid when ordering manuals.) The Instructor is then to retain 100% of the remaining tuition.
They must purchase " NCSA Manuel for Newborn Care Specialist 101” through TheNCSA. They will be given a rate of $35.00 per manual to be paid in addition to the “student fee”.

Access to your teacher for advice and council during business hours.
Cost: $1,000.00
Payment Plan:
A payment plan can be set up for the “Gold Package”. $1,500.00 is due prior to the classes and the remaining $1,500.00 is due within 90 days of completion of the course. After the 90 days if there is an unpaid balance, certification and teaching privileges will be suspended until balance is paid.
